Hello,

My name is Yanka Deshkovski, and I am currently a Computer Science major at the University of Florida, enrolled in the College of Engineering. I am graduating in 2027, with plans to minor in Mathematics. Throughout my academic journey, I have pursued courses in foundational areas such as Data Structures and Algorithms, Discrete Structures, and Introduction to Number Theory, which have significantly shaped my analytical and problem-solving skills.

In addition to my coursework, I have actively used platforms like LeetCode to sharpen my problem-solving abilities, tackling a wide range of algorithmic challenges. I am proficient in several programming languages, including C++, Python, and JavaScript, and continue to refine these skills through practical applications and personal projects.

Beyond my studies, I am actively involved in many extracurricular activities. I play competitive beach volleyball here at the University of Florida, which has helped me further develop discipline, communication skills, collaboration and leadership abilities through coaching and playing. In my free time, I also enjoy playing disc golf, a sport I find both relaxing and enjoyable.

I am passionate about leveraging my technical expertise and diverse experiences to contribute meaningfully to future opportunities, and I am eager to continue expanding my knowledge in both computer science and mathematics.
